San Vicente de la Barquera es de esos pueblos encantadores que tiene de todo; mar, castillo, muralla, naturaleza, vistas a las montañas, buen pescado... La parte más antigua está en un alto y protegida por la muralla; con el Castillo del Rey, la iglesia de Santa María de los Ángeles y el ayuntamiento, y tiene unas vistas espectaculares, ya que el pueblo se encuentra dentro de un parque natural. 

San Vicente de la Barquera is one of those charming towns that has it all; the sea, a castle, city walls, nature, a view to the mountains, yummy fish... The older part of the city is uphill, surrounded by the wall; with the king's castle, a chrurch and the city hall, and is overlooking the national park where is located.

La playa de Langre es uno de esos lugares mágicos, con aire fresco, aguas turquesas, acantilados, flores silvestres... Me enamoré de este lugar en primavera y tuve la suerte de volver en verano. Pequeña y tranquila es uno de esos sitios para perderse con quien más quieras!

Langre beach is one of those magic places with fresh air, turquoise waters, cliffs, wild flowers... I fell in love with the spot in Spring and I was lucky to visit again in Summer. Small and quiet is one of those places to get lost with the one you love!

Roma, ITALY

Estuve en Roma por primera vez hace 10 años, de viaje de fin de curso. Creo que vi la ciudad con resaca, o igual es que ha pasado mucho tiempo, porque mi memoria tiene lagunas. En cualquier caso espero que, si veo estas fotos dentro de 10 años, el modelito que llevo no me horrorice tanto como mi vestuario de 2004 (menudas risas os ibais a echar como subiese esas fotos!) Las sandalias que llevo son de hace algún año más, con ellas me gradué de la ESO, me dieron mi primer beso y pasé noches enteras bailando sobre ellas... Aunque puede que recorrer Roma con unos tacones de 10cm no haya sido mi decisión más acertada del verano (nota mental: la próxima vez haz caso a tus sabios consejos sobre cómo hacer el Equipaje Perfecto)

I visited Rome for the first time 10 years ago, on a graduation trip. I think I had a hangover all over the city, or maybe it's been a long time and my memory is failing. Anyways, I hope when I look back at these pics 10 years from now I don't regret my outfit as much as I regret what I was wearing in 2004 (You'd ROTFL with those images!) The sandals are even older, I wore them to my school graduation, during my first kiss and I danced on them endless nights... but maybe roaming all over Rome on 10cm heels wasn't my wisest summer choice (mental note: next time follow your awesome advice on how to pack the Perfect Luggage)

Todos sabemos que Roma no se puede ver en un día, así que yo decidí pasear e ir viendo todo lo que me encontrase a mi paso (comiendo gelatos para ir reponiendo fuerzas), y al final resulta que de una forma relajada, parándome en cada placita a tomar un capuccino y metiendo los piés en cada fuente con agua fresca, disfruté de un buen trailer de toda la ciudad. Os cuento mi ruta, muy poco Audrey Hepburn, pero bastante Sugar Lane!

We all know Rome can't be seen in a day, so I opted for a walk sightseeing anything I run into (eating gelatos to keep it up), and it turned out I got to see most of the city, taking it easy, having capuccinos at nice piazzas and dipping my feet on every fresh fountain. I'm sharing my route, not really Audrey-Hepburnish, but quite Sugar Lane!
