Potes, SPAIN

WHERE: Potes, Cantabria, SPAIN
WHEN: August 2015, 1 day
WITH: Boyfriend (+1)
HOW: Car from Santander (90mins)
WEATHER: Cloudy
WEARING: Denim

I visited Potes when I was a child, and I just remembered one thing; balconies filled with flowers. They were still there when I came back this Summer, with a few more tourists and many new houses among the old ones. The trip there is worth, this town with a river is surrounded by green mountains, perfect to walk on the narrow streets, by the river, eat a Cocido Montañés or even drink a sidra.

LO MEJOR/THE BEST: comer un buen cocido lebaniego en el Cenador del Capitán / Have the typical Cocido Lebaniego at Cenador del Capitán

LO PEOR/THE WORST: bastante masificado, la carretera para llegar no es muy buena y aparcar es algo complicado / very crowded, the road from La Hermida is not great and parking there takes a while
